Robert Moran
joined The Philadelphia Inquirer in 1992 as a suburban
correspondent and became a staff writer in 1994. He has covered state
government in both Harrisburg and Trenton for the newspaper. In 2004, he
was assigned to cover Iraq for two months for the Inquirer's parent
chain, Knight Ridder. Two years ago, he began making videos for the
newspaper's web site. He is currently a member of the Inquirer's morning
online staff, but for most of the time since October, he has been
liveblogging from the courtroom at the federal corruption trial of
former State Sen. Vincent J. Fumo. He graduated from the University of
Southern California in 1991 and grew up in Whittier, California.
