Password Management
Managing Your Password
Your password is managed through the OneLogin application. When you need to change your password or if you forget it, click on the Forgot Password link on the Bucks Identity Sign-in page. A link will be emailed to the personal email account you have listed in your student or employee records. Click on that link, to reset your password.
New Students
- Please go to the Bucks Identity Page
- Click the Forgot Password link
- Enter your Bucks email address - username@live.bucks.edu - the system uses your live.bucks account to match to your personal email and sends the link to that personal email which is the one you used when you applied to the college - it will provide a hint that shows which email it is using.
- Click the email button on the Select Authentication Factor Screen - after you click the button it will show the hint mentioned in Step 3.
- Open the personal email account
- Click on the reset password link in the email you received from OneLogin
- Set your password using the following rules:
- at least 8 characters
- at least one upper case letter
- at least one lower case letter
- at least one number
- at least one special character
- no more than 128 characters
- Common words and names are not permitted to be used as passwords.
- Do not use anything related to your name or birthday
- Click the Submit button
New Employees
- Please go to the Bucks Identity Signin Page
- Click the Forgot Password link
- Enter your Bucks email
- Click the email button on the Select Authentication Factor Screen
- Open the personal email account you gave us on your employment application
- Click on the reset password link in the email you received from OneLogin
- Set your password using the following rules:
- at least 8 characters
- at least one upper case letter
- at least one lower case letter
- at least one number
- at least one special character
- no more than 128 characters
- Common words and names are not permitted to be used as passwords.
- Do not use anything related to your name or birthday
- Click the Submit button
Forgot/Reset Password
- Click the Forgot Password link on the Bucks Identity Signin Page
- Enter your Bucks email
- Open the personal email account we have on file. Unless you've changed it, for Students it's the email you used when you applied. For employees, it's the personal email you entered in your Self Service profile. Please contact the Help Desk if you don't remember which personal email account you used - helpdesk@bucks.edu or 215-968-8191.
- Click on the reset password link in the email you received from OneLogin
- Reset your password using the following rules:
- at least 8 characters
- at least one upper case letter
- at least one lower case letter
- at least one number
- at least one special character
- no more than 128 characters
- Common words and names are not permitted to be used as passwords.
- Do not use anything related to your name or birthday
- Must be different than your last five passwords
- Click the Submit button
