IT Certification Testing at Bucks
Pearson VUE
Pearson VUE provides innovative electronic testing solutions that enhance the performance, reliability, and security of high-stakes testing programs worldwide. Pearson VUE is the only authorized Cisco certification testing provider.
Test candidates can schedule an exam with Pearson Vue online. Walk-in testing is not available.
Certiport
Bucks is a Certiport Authorized Testing Center offering test candidates certification exams for Microsoft Office Specialist®, Microsoft Technology Associate®, HP Accredited Technical Associate®, Adobe Certified Associate®, QuickBooks Certified User®, Internet and Computing Core Certification®, and CompTIA Strata IT Fundamentals Certificate®.
Certiport test voucher
Purchase a test voucher from Certiport either online or by calling customer service at 1-888-999-9830. You will need to create an account with Certiport. We strongly suggest you purchase the test voucher with the retake option. For a few dollars more you get a second chance if needed.
Once you have the test voucher, email Jim Nasta at james.nasta@bucks.edu to schedule the exam. The College charges a $25 exam administration fee (per exam). Payment instructions will be provided once the exam is scheduled.
Testing hours + locations
- Newtown Campus: Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Also open Monday December 23)
- Lower Bucks Campus, Bristol: Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Closed Monday December 23)
- Upper Bucks Campus, Perkasie: Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Testing services will be unavailable from December 24, 2024 to January 1, 2025.
On the test day, arrive 30 minutes before the schedule time. Newtown Campus is at 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Lower Bucks Campus is at 1304 Veterans Highway, Bristol, PA 19007. Perkasie Campus is at One Hillendale Rd, Perkasie, PA 18944. If you bring up the college’s website at www.bucks.edu and scroll down to the bottom of the page, click on the appropriate campus for directions. For Newtown, park in the V1 Visitor or S-2 parking. Testing is in the Gateway Center which is directly across from those parking lots.
Park in the V1 Visitor’s parking lot. If this lot is full, park in Lot “S-2”.
Walk directly across to the Gateway Center (three flag poles in front of the building and a green metal roof over the doorway) and go to the receptionist desk.
Lastly the Test Proctor will request an ID. The ID must be government issued, such as a driver’s license or passport. Some exams require a secondary ID.
