July 2025 Admissions
Our admission process is now open and we are taking applications for the July 2025 program start date.
The Practical Nursing Program is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and runs for 12 consecutive months beginning every July. This is a non-credit certificate program. Courses taken at another institution may not be transferred to this program. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must be a high school graduate or GED certificate holder. There are no course prerequisites.
Phase I
The first step in the admission process (Phase I) is to complete the College's free application.
- Under 'Major to which you seek Admission', indicate your academic major as “Health Sciences” Code Number 1108.
Once you have completed your application, you will then register to take a pre-entrance exam. Our program uses the ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills (ATI TEAS®). This test measures basic essential skills of reading, mathematics, science, English and language usage.
The test is intended for adult health science program applicants. The objectives assessed on ATI TEAS® are those which health educators deemed most appropriate and relevant to measure entry-level academic readiness of Nursing applicants.
