Bucks is committed to helping our students and community cultivate their entrepreneurial spirit and build businesses that have an impact on our local economy.
Calling all entrepreneurs! Our 11-week Workforce Development training program provides you with the skills, knowledge, and mentorship to start or grow your business!
Topics covered include:
Work one-on-one with a business coach to help guide and meet your specific goals. You will develop a business plan pitch deck as part of the class and earn 3 college credits! The culminating project will be a pitch event, run in conjunction with StartUp Bucks. StartUp Bucks is nonprofit organization created by and for entrepreneurs to support new and existing startups to drive economic and cultural growth in and beyond Bucks County. You will receive feedback and suggestions from a panel of successful entrepreneurs and industry experts.
Veterans and family members strongly encouraged to apply. All candidates will undergo interview to determine program suitability.
Class format: Online instruction is live with professor, cohort-based, via an online learning platform.
Dates: Cohort begins February 19, 2025
Cost: Training is free for Bucks County, PA residents that meet the eligibility requirements. Candidates must have a high school diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) certification and will be interviewed to determine program suitability.
Total hours of instruction: 55 hours
Total credits: Earn 3 college credits for MGMT-155 Introduction to Entrepreneurship
Credential: Non-credit certificate
Eligibility: Must be a U.S Citizen or have a Green Card
