This eight-hour classroom course is designed especially for motorists age 50 or older. This is a full eight-hour course, with two four-hour sessions. Both sessions are required for certification. Certificates will be distributed at the end of the second day. Please bring a ball-point pen, your driver’s license, and AARP Membership card. This class covers normal changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time, and provides practical techniques to compensate for these changes. The program fosters safer driving practices, continued mobility, and a discount in auto insurance in most states.

If you are unsure if a refresher certificate is what you need, please contact your insurance agent to determine if they will accept this 4-hour course or require you to attend the full 8-hour course. Please bring a ball-point pen, your driver’s license, and your AARP Membership card.
