Diversity Definition & Mission
Bucks County Community College (Bucks) defines diversity as:
the differences in populations (that include but is not limited to, race, gender, ethnicity, culture, language, beliefs, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, social-economic status, military service, and age) and learning how those differences enhance the higher education experience of students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are integral components of our goal to provide accessible, affordable, high-quality educational opportunities for our students. Bucks remains committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion while maintaining excellence in student recruitment, faculty, and staff recruitment and development. Our learning environment encourages a diverse robust engagement among students, staff, and the community at large.
