Dr. Richard Balukas
Richard Balukas, Ed.D., Ed.M., has an extensive background in education and administration. He has worked with the New York City Public Schools, Pennsbury, and Abington school districts. Additionally, he has been an Adjunct Professor at New York University and the City University of New York, teaching various courses related to education, administration, and psychology. Richard has also been involved in volunteer work, including providing leadership training for water safety and lifeguard training at the ARC. He has also been active in publishing and mentoring student teachers as they pursue professional certifications.
Richard's dedication to community involvement is evident through his advocacy work for parents and children, as well as his active engagement in school district and community college initiatives. His civic and political contributions include his role as an active member of the Tinicum Civic Association and being elected Tinicum Township Committee Person. He has directed his efforts towards various civic groups and initiatives aimed at enhancing the scenic and capital improvements in Tinicum Township. Richard earned his M.A., Ed.D., and Ed.M. from the Teachers College of Columbia University and a B.A. from Brooklyn College, City University of New York.
