Create one-of-a-kind decorative notecards! Participants will learn traditional monoprinting processes as well as gel plate printing in this fast-paced workshop. Students will experiment with color, texture, stencils and layering techniques to produce colorful, one-of-a-kind prints that will be used to create greeting cards, collages, and more! The purpose of this class series is to introduce community members to the fundamentals of woodturning and to acquaint them with the woodshop space. This series will cover safety, the proper use of the lathe and woodturning tools and techniques. It will be a balance of lecture and hands on time to explore the techniques learned. The goal is to advance the student’s knowledge in woodturning to be confident to use the lathe and its tools safely and advance in their woodworking journey.
