Esthetics Program
In partnership with Upper Bucks County Technical School, Bucks County Community College is excited to announce a new program in Esthetics at the UBCTS campus located in scenic Bedminster Township in Perkasie, PA.
This program provides competency-based knowledge, scientific/artistic principles, and hands-on fundamentals associated with the art of skin care. Upon completion of 300 hours of theory and instruction, graduates of the Esthetics Program should be prepared to take the Pennsylvania State Board Licensing Exam and upon passing, be licensed and qualify for employment in beauty and cosmetic/skincare salons, as a platform artists, and in related businesses. Course instructors will provide students with job placement assistance upon passing the board licensing exam.
The curriculum provides a simulated salon environment that enables students to develop professional and interpersonal skills, and includes coursework and instruction in all phases of professional skincare.
