Prepare to earn your commercial driver's license in just five weeks.
Embark on a career driving trucks through one of the Commercial Driver’s License training programs at Bucks County Community College.
Gain the knowledge and skills you need through a combination of classroom, driving range, and on-road training. Experienced instructors will help prepare you to take and pass your state’s Commercial Driver’s License test – all in just five weeks!
Pass the test and get a job.
The material presented in this Class A CDL program is designed to enable you to take and pass the Commercial Driver’s License test in your state of residence. As a graduate, you will have sufficient skills and knowledge to find your first job as an entry-level tractor trailer driver with a quality carrier. We partner with many companies that have in-house training departments that provide additional training to entry-level drivers. Local employment opportunities also exist for the more capable graduates.

Program Details
- Students will receive 170 hours of in-class and hands-on range and road training with an experienced instructor.
- Classes are scheduled for Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (no evenings or weekends).
- The program costs $5,720.00

Requirements
- Have a valid In or Out of state driver's license (Class C)
- Be 18 years old (to drive in-state) or 21 years old (to drive out of state)
- Understand, Read and Speak Basic English
- A 3- year Driving History Record
- High School Diploma or GED
- Participants will also have to complete the Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and physical
- Valid CDL Permit is required before the second week of class
- Required Documents: 2 proofs of residence, Birth certificate or evidence of lawful presence, Social Security Card, High School Diploma or GED
