About Gwynedd Mercy University
Gwynedd Mercy University (GMercyU) is a private Roman Catholic university in Lower Gwynedd Township, Pennsylvania. It occupies a 160-acre (65-hectare) campus in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Gwynedd Mercy University was founded in 1948, as Gwynedd-Mercy College, by the Sisters of Mercy as a junior college. In 1963 the college was rechartered as a baccalaureate institution. The school later renamed itself Gwynedd Mercy University. GMercyU offers more than 40 undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing, education, business, and the arts & sciences.

Transfer Agreements
Dual Admissions and Core to Core Agreement
Under the Dual Admission Agreement, priority in admission is given to Bucks students who sign the Dual Admission Intent Form before completing 30 college level credits and are in designated majors. Gwynedd Mercy also agrees to accept the general education courses embedded in the Bucks A.A, A.S and A.A.S degrees as meeting all requirements of its undergraduate general education requirements, except for two Signature Seminars and one Philosophy or Religion course.
- Graduates from Bucks with a designated Associate degree:
- will have the application fee waived.
- will be able to finish the parallel Bachelor's Degree within four regular semesters if following a full-time schedule.
- be awarded scholarships (see above scholarship section).
- Enroll at GMercyU within one year of BCCC graduation.
- Satisfy all other GMercyU transfer requirements
