- VI. Catalog Course Description
- Students will be assigned to clinical areas and attend clinical education for 24 hours per week. In the clinical setting, the student will demonstrate their knowledge in ethical situations, legal issues, evaluation of radiographic images and patient care situations.

Course Learning Goals
Students will:
- demonstrate medical imaging procedures under the appropriate level of supervision;
- demonstrate proper evaluation of a requisition, facility readiness, equipment operation and technique selection, positioning skills, radiation protection for patient, self and others, and image processing;
- examine radiographic images for proper anatomical parts, alignment, radiographic techniques, patient identification and radiation protection;
- demonstrate competent assessment skills through effective management of the patient's physical and mental status;
- illustrate appropriate personal and professional values into clinical practice; and
- demonstrate appropriate and effective written, oral and nonverbal communication with patients, public and health care members.
