- This course is a continuation of RADI135 and provides the student with a detailed understanding of various radiographic imaging techniques, procedures, and equipment. The major topics that are included are introduction to all modalities, drug administration and contrast media.

Course Learning Goals
Students will:
- discuss the role of Mammography Quality Standards Act in mammography;
- explain the basic principles of Bone Densitometry, Radiation Therapy and Ultrasound;
- identify the equipment utilized in Interventional Radiology;
- explain the process of data acquisition in computed tomography;
- describe the similarities and differences in the production of magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography images; and
- discuss the principles of drug administration with contrast media.
