- VI. Catalog Course Description
- Students are assigned to clinical areas and attend clinical education for 24 hours per week. In the clinical setting, the student demonstrate their knowledge in ethical situations, legal issues, evaluation of radiographic images and patient care situations.

Course Learning Goals
Students will:
- demonstrate medical imaging procedures under the appropriate level of supervision;
- examine the image for proper anatomical parts, alignment, radiographic techniques, patient identification and radiation protection;
- choose corrective measures to improve inadequate images;
- interpret changes in varying clinical situations;
- recognize departmental and institutional response to emergencies, disasters and accidents; and
- demonstrate appropriate charting methods.
