This special topics course provides an introduction to various emerging legal issues. Topics vary by semester, and include developing areas of law and/or areas of law which are subject of frequent re-interpretation. This course is designed to enhance students' written communication skills through various writing exercises.

Course Learning Goals
Students will:
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the various emerging legal issues selected by the paralegal faculty.
- Evaluate developing areas of law and/or areas of law which are subject to frequent re-interpretation.
- Apply written communication skills through various writing exercises.
- Analyze and debate legal trends and arguments within a variety of specialty areas of law.
