Course Learning Goals
Students will
- Demonstrate proficiency in conducting comprehensive physical examinations on research animals;
- Complete diagnostic procedures, such as blood pressure measurement, temperature monitoring, and weight assessment on research animals;
- Demonstrate safe and gentle techniques for handling and restraining research animals during examinations and treatments; and
- Demonstrate proper venipuncture techniques for blood collection in research animals.
