- This course is designed for students working with companion animals, such as dogs, cats, and small mammals. It provides a comprehensive overview of the practical aspects of caring for and working with companion animals, covering topics ranging from pet health and wellness to behavior, training, and enrichment.

Course Learning Goals
Students will
- Demonstrate proficiency in conducting comprehensive physical examinations on companion animals;
- Complete diagnostic procedures, such as blood pressure measurement, temperature monitoring, and weight assessment on companion animals;
- Demonstrate safe and gentle techniques for handling and restraining small animals during examinations and treatments; and
- Demonstrate proper venipuncture techniques for blood collection in companion animals.
