- This course is an interdisciplinary study of rescue and resistance in the Holocaust and other modern genocides.

Course Learning Goals
Students will:
- Develop an understanding of rescue and resistance by examining profiles of rescuers, refugees and survivors;
- Develop an understanding of rescue and resistance by examining case studies of rescue and resistance networks;
- Analyze the motivations, risks and consequences for rescuers: psychological, sociological, demographic, economic, and political; and
- Define resistance and analyze its different forms.
