College-Bound Students Can Learn about Bucks and Temple
Admissions representatives from both schools present panel discussions Nov. 5 on how to start your bachelor’s degree at Bucks and finish at Temple
Bucks County Community College has long been the first choice for an affordable start to a bachelor’s degree. Meanwhile, Temple University has long been the top choice of Bucks students to complete that degree. College-bound students can hear what both schools have to offer at Bucks/Temple Night, 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, November 5.
“Temple appeals to Bucks students because it offers a wide variety of programs at a convenient location, with affordable tuition,” says Barbara Ford, BCCC’s director of transfer services. “Those are the same reasons students choose to begin their bachelor’s degree at Bucks.”
Students can meet with admissions representatives from Bucks and Temple, learn about the seamless transfer process through a panel discussion, and hear success stories from alumni. Bucks offers a convenient two-year start to college with campuses in Bristol, Newtown, and Perkasie. Temple offers the best of both worlds – city and suburbs – with campuses in Philadelphia, Ambler, and Fort Washington.
The event, which is free and open to potential students of all ages, will be held in BCCC’s Gateway Center lobby and auditorium at 275 Swamp Rd., Newtown. Light refreshments will be served. To learn more or to register, call 267-468-8111 or visit www.bucks.edu/temple.
