Scholarships

Upcoming Deadlines:
Next Application Window: February 1, 2010 to April 1, 2010* (unless otherwise noted)

Scholarships are administered by the Bucks County Community College Foundation and the College's Financial Aid Office and are for use at BCCC only (unless otherwise noted). To apply for one of the scholarships listed below, download the necessary application form or contact the department/office listed. Generally, a committee selects recipients during the spring semester preceding the fall semester for which the scholarship is intended. Students will receive notification of scholarship receipt.

What do you need to do to apply for a financial need-based scholarship?

For financial need-based scholarships, students are responsible to file the appropriate FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) prior to completing a scholarship application.

How does BCCC determine financial need?

To determine financial need, students must complete the appropriate academic year's FAFSA for BCCC. Financial need is calculated by subtracting the EFC (Expected Family Contribution) and any other financial aid from a student's cost of attendance. If anything is left over, you are considered to have financial need for additional assistance. For more information about financial aid eligibility criteria and requirements click here, or contact the Financial Aid Office at 215-968-8200. To find out more about specific scholarships and awards, contact the Foundation at 215-968-8224 or scholarships@bucks.edu.

Please note: Some of the scholarships shown may not be offered every year.

Realizing his potential and determination, the administration promoted him to the rank of Detective in 1980 where he served until his untimely death in 1992. Throughout his brief career in law enforcement, Chuck had investigated some of the most difficult cases to occur anywhere from the bright lights of a big city to small town America. Homicide, bank robbery, burglary and narcotic investigations were just some of the cases that he was successful in investigating. Always ready to show a rookie how to lift a latent fingerprint at a crime scene or cite the appropriate criminal charge on a warrant, Chuck was a leader not by rank or position, but by “example.” Leading by example is one of the hallmarks of his legacy.
