Bucks County Community College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104, 215-662-5606. The Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Commission on Postsecondary Accreditation.

In addition, the Business Studies area is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP); the Paralegal area is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA); the Music area is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM); the Art area is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD); and Associate Degree Nursing is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) and approved by the State Board of Nursing. Eligibility standards for our athletic programs are set by the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC), the Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (PCC), and the National Jr. College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

The College is recognized by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers. The College's Student Services Center is accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services. The College is approved for Veterans Education by the Department of Education of the Commonwealth.
